ProFound's managing consultant Bert-Jan Ottens took part in a 3-day workshop that launched Bio Jordan, a support programme for Jordanian farmers to convert to organic practices, under patronage of the Jordan Queen.

ProFound's contribution to the workshop comprised an up-to-date overview of the EU markets for organic produce, as well as relevant Market Access Requirements and possible Market Entry Strategies for such produce.

As a result of the workshop, some 60 farmers have been selected to take part in the Bio Jordan programme, which is supported by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development.
